Carey had a tough fixture with Glenravel in the Junior Feis Shield. After a lot of injuries manager Bosco had to get on the phone to pull a few retired players back into Action. Joe Butler was talked back to take up a commanding position in the goals for Carey and Aidan McCormick was placed on the edge of the square. It was an entertaining match that Carey led through out and another win for the Juniors.
