After beating Armoy in the previous round, we had every reason to feel optimistic against St Paul's despite them playing in a higher league. This was a game of two halves, with a strong breeze helping St Paul's to a six point advantage at the break. The second half was mainly dominated by ourselves, but a formidable City side, helped by a fine full back, pegged us back, and we never could overhaul the deficit.
