Glenshesk U10s played in the U10 Section B Championship in Carey on Sept 12th. In our section there was the following teams Glenshesk, Cushendun, Glenravel, Glenarm and Oisins.
All teams put in a great days hurling in brilliant sunshine. The teams played each match with great spirit, and all teams displayed a great skill level of hurling. It was good to see that only lots of encouragement was given from the sidelines for the young hurling stars of the future. All supporters gathered at the matches were impressed by the sporting manor of the matches and also the level of professionalism shown by these youngsters of the Glens of Antrim as they stand on the cusp of hopefully long successful hurling careers.
