| St Brigid's, Cloughmills 3-9 Carey 6-14 |
With probably the best display of the season we completely outclassed St Brigid's on their home turf. Leading 4-6 to 0-7 at half-time, indicated the level of the Carey performance. Martin Mc Auley got the show running with a goal after 3 minutes. This was followed by 3 goals before half-time from Shane Mc Cambridge, Tommy Devlin, and Martin Mc Auley. Six points also came from Martin Mc Auley, Tommy Devlin, Nat Hunter, Colm Mc Bride and James Black.
The second half was a repeat performance with Shane Mc Cambridge getting his second goal and Ciaran Mc Caughan getting the sixth goal. Martin Mc Auley added a further 6 points, with Martin Hunter getting another couple of points. The home side got a couple of consolation scores near the end of the match, when we decided to take our foot off the gas. With 3 games left, we are still in contention for the League along with Lamh Dearg.
